Additionally, we encourage you to physically test out our equipment before you make your purchase, which can be done during the day or at night under our beautiful dark country skies. This takes the uncertainty out of buying, and insures that you will choose the model that is best for your needs.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new showroom located at 370A Rio Communities Blvd in Valley Community Plaza here in Belen. It is only 3 miles from our previous location where we have servered our customers for over 14 years.

Black Sky Ranch
The long awaited opening of Black Sky Ranch is planned for late 2008. We will be hosting sky tours as well as private star parties at this convient dark sky location. We are also planning to have cabins available for rent that will have kitchenettes and provide a private observing area. We are offering a wonderful experience that will give you peace and quiet amidst the delightful sounds of the wilderness. You will be serenaded by hooting owls, the many songs of mocking birds, and the distant voices of coyotes. There are lots of trees to give you a total feeling of escape from big city noise. At 6300 feet, nestled between three mountain ranges, the air is pure and crystal clear with the fragrance of pinion and juniper. It is as much of a true wilderness experience as it is an astronomers paradise, to expeience the blackness of 7th magnitude skies, which is almost impossible to find in any country today. You will see countless galaxies, nebulas and star clusters like you have never seen before. If you think we are excited about this opportunity for you, you bet we are!!!

Training Sessions
Mark Nagrodsky offers training sessions for those who desire to sharpen their astronomy skills. These are private sessions averaging 90 minutes. Sessions are $35.00 at the office or $65.00 at a dark sky location.
Mark also teaches Astronomy at the University of New Mexico - Valencia Campass. If you are interested, contact UNM for class scheduels and fees.

You cannot see galaxy M104 from any major city. Visit our shop far from big city lights, under dark country skies, and we can take you there. It will be the most exciting journey you have ever taken. You will be looking at a giant galaxy 10 times the size of our own and at a staggering distance of 40 million light years.
